The name's Bond, Billy Bond, and here is this week's edition of my exclusive Hotwire column: "Oh Please!".
This week, the thing that makes me say"Oh Please!" is pointless and annoying statements.
These are the statements that just make you want to slap people. Utterly pointless crapola that doesn't need to be said, and makes everyone around you think: "Oh Please!".
So without further ado, I give you this week's edition of... "Oh Please!".
"It's always in the last place you look."
Well, of course it is! Why the bloody hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Come on! What a stupid thing to say!
Policemen who pull you over and then ask if you know how fast you were going? It's not like you've got a high tech thingy that's already told you I was 2 MPH over the speed limit, is it?
"Life is short."
Well, it's pretty much the longest thing that you can have isn't it? It kinda encompasses everything you ever do!
"You just want to have your cake and eat it too!"
Well, um, yeah! If I've got myself a cake, I'm not gonna do much else other than eat it, am I? What a shitty saying!
