Pride was formed when the newcomer Justin Sharp was barraged with "Old Guard" slams. Justin slammed right back and got into a verbal dispute with Maxx Pain. But by surprise it was Maxx who helped Justin defeat "Smooth Operator" Billy Bond and thus formed Pride.
The two talked of a thrid member and it was thought that El Gambit had filled that role when he was boasted the duos tag partner. El Gambit ran out to the ring to attack Adam Cage and Justin and Maxx soon followed. Only to attack El Gambit and form PRIDE as Justin Sharp, Maxx Pain, and Adam cage.
Later on in their growing dominance in GZW, Pride rose once again as they expanded their borders into UJW and HKWF enlisting Brian Sabre and Demon Masked as their new recruites.
Then on the April 16th episode of Tuesday Crimson, Pride grew once again with the addition of the MSWA Champion to their line up in Chris Trepanier.
On the May 14, 2002 episode of Tuesday Crimson Pride grew once again by incorporating the very hopeful prospect, Bane and hi father Cracker Jack! It was all one big set up with Justin and Maxx, posing as Bane for the time while the two defeated and destroyed Justin's father, Chris sharp once again and then the real Bane ran out along with the rest of Pride to show the unity of the now 5 man unit.
On the massive Fallout: Zero Hour, we witnessed an amzing night for Pride.... Chris Trepanier defeated both Desecrator and Symon, and Justin Sharp defeated his father and dman near breaking his back!
But the night had it's down sides also.... Adam Cage was terminated from the group thanks to his unsuccesful record as of late, and El Gambit cost Maxx Pain the TV Title!
Right when Holly Fortune was suspected of joining Pride, she turned on them and enlisted the returning DEACON KANE to take out Pride and humiliate Justin Sharp!
With the power of GZW taking twists and turns everywhere in sight what does the future hold for the on the ropes, "Pride"?
On the June 25th edition of Crimson, Maxx Pain, Bane, and the Gzw United States Champion Chris Trepainer attacked Justin Sharp during his match with Eric "Complete Chaos" Montair, Maxx proclaiming that Justin was his puppet bitch, and that he had just cut the strings to the young Sharp, and Maxx now says that he is the new leader of Pride, and Pride will only die by his hands.

The objective of "Pride" has changed over the months of its formation. From being a soley unit to take out the "Old Guard", Now the task has arrisen that they must take out ALL authority! With the new challenge of the "War Party".... All hell is abound to break loose!
