Reality Check

Hello my beautiful fans once again from the mind that brought you such columns as well... This one! Today I have the much enjoyable Crimson review and of course a little bit of the ever so disappointing Travesty results mixed into the show.

How I'm gonna work this as the Travesty matches were pre-taped, I'm just gonna give a "brief" rundown of Travesty next and then move onto Crimson, so here we go with Travesty from New Glascow, Scotland!

Travesty

Well on with the show very coincidentaly named "Travesty", because thats what its become the last few weeks.

This Travesty wasn't even its own show, (Is that a bad thing?) and it was set at the site of the upcoming site of the GZW extravaganza, Fallout: Zero Hour! And basically thats all I'm gonna say about it... Some little matches took place with a couple titles on the line but nothing changed hands so don't worry, you didn't miss much!

Crimson

Crimson started off this week with the pre-taped match from Travesty that well was not all that exciting so let's move onto the first REAL part of Crimson...

Diamond Sledge Promo

Diamond cuts some CLASSIC Bully stuff here and was actually really good, with him even using a poster to try to enforce his "Anti Bullying Ways". Somehow I don't think its gonna work my main man! Perhaps Diamond needs to get a little more serious, but we can't have him lose his cuteness now could we?

Sharp/Sharp

The ongoing family feud continued with this time Justin baiting the trap and luring his dad into a game of hide and go seek! I loved this little skit as it really shows the chemistry these two have!

Chains Vs. Outlaw Wales

Now before I start, I know Chains needs a feud but I think this ones gone dud on us. Lot's of extreme style stuff that I'm not all for. But the match itself eventually led to once again the BrotherHood coming up short with "The Bad Bull" winning. Interesting note that Kid Kaos didnt even appear to help out his ill-fated partner! Now it may seem extreme right now but I could really see Chains being pushed towards the "New Guard Renegade" stable Pride... The poor guy has not done well at all since the BrotherHood was formed!

Sharp/Sharp 2

Well the chase continues in this scene with Justin just missing his dad with a crate off of a transport. Just another showcase to make Crimson extra special!

Who The Hell?

Next up we see an interesting musical interlude featuring the song "How You Remind Me" By Nickle Back.... A Very interesting promo which seemed to lead me towards a certain geuss as to who the man is but I'm not gonna ruin it for you all! But whoever he is we see another reference to the new guard rebels here!

Poor Diamond!

Diamond is brutalized once again, this time by a mysterious man who seems also responcibel for an attack on the Travesty tapings?

Sharp Confrontation

Chris finally catches up to Justin and the emotion pours out with these two as they are really heating things up for thier big recently announced Fallout: Zero Hour matchup! This time Chris gets the upper hand until Brian Sabre, who was talking to Justin earlier in the week showed up and smashed the elder Sharp with a steel chair and then Justin came to the conclusion and hinted towards the Sharp Lock being the highlighted move for thier match.

"El Gambit" Vs. Symon

Well this was by far one of the most entertaining parts of Crimson as the LH Division is really heating up with the ever talking Symon taking on the Ex-LH Champ, "El Gambit" Santiago De Touwce with the winner rumored and later confirmed the LH Title Shot against Justin Sharp.

The match started out quick and went a good pace until poor El G fell victim to his own cheating tactics as T-Rex took out Gambit on the top rope and allowed for Symon to hit the 450 Splash and the victory and the chance to go up against Justin Sharp!

LH Title Match Preview

Well Symon was hyped after his win over "El G" when Brian Sabre came up to him and told him he was delivering a message from the LH Champ, Symon was then brutally attacked by the man he calls "Truly Dull" with a steel chair!

With Symon out Sharp then announced that should bow down to the LH King, and sadly I can't argue... Sharp hot right now. Real hot, yet so is Symon and thier match up next week should be PPV quality!

Travesty Videos

The next two parts of Crimson where Travesty rematches featuring a nice little "Choose Your Weapons" match with Chains and Prey which saw Chains once again coming out on the bottom.

IC #1 Contenders Match

This match was a blast with Pride member and MSWA Champ, Chris T taking on "The Real Deal" Jimmy Williams! And to make things a little more interesting, Pimp Bizkit comes out to do commentary which lead to some funny moments between he and Hunt.

The macth itself followed up like most thought it would, with Pimp interfering and Chris T earning the win and then the two of them beating on poor ole' Jimmy! So we now have Chris Trepanier as the #1 Contender to the IC Title!

Mrs M Show

I LOVE the Mrs M show, which this week featured the returning Celestia "Mooncat" L'Yark and the reigning LH Champ, Justin Sharp!

The two seperate interviews were nothing special except for Justin trying to get under Mrs M's skin, which he did quite effectively.

But near the end of the show a fight broke out wiht Justin and Celestia, with Celestia looking good... Until Justin hit the Hydra on her on the floor! Justinwas the man that put Celestia on the rack and now we get to see what the returing Mooncat has instore for GZW's fastly rising star.

Eric Montair Vs. Jacob Helmsley

We get another tipicle Extreme match which doesn't turn my crank but we see Adam Cage re appear in the Extreme Divison where he hasn't been for awhile and cost "C2" the match and led to an Extreme Title Shot for the "Pride" member next week!

Travesty Tapes

Magic succesfully defends his IC title in New Glascow against Battle Cry! Boy these Travesty tapes are cramping my Crimson style! 8)

Pride Vs. Peacekeepers

A very emotional match with the upper tier, so to say of Pride taking on the GZW's old guard in the form of the Peacekeepers, Nathaniel Davis and Diamond Sledge.

The match was good up to the point when it spilled out of control after Justin cranks the ref with the LH Title and all hell breaks loose with Adam Cage running down to outnumber the two Peacekeepers who are soon assisted by "Smooth Operator" Billy Bond!

Can't complain about this match at all, it was entertaining and made me smile! ;D

T-Rex Promo

We get to see the ever so popular T-Rex talking about his IC Title match later that night as we get some emotional footage of when Rex beat Magic before for the Heavyweight Title.... But the future did not bold well for the "Champion of People".

Tag Titles Match

Well Fiery's beat "WMCB"! Did I not call that one a few weeks ago? Oh I think I did! ;D but let's not get to overexcited, since Endangered Species will soon hold the belts!

IC Title Match: Kaos Vs. Rex Vs. Magic

With the IC Title on the line Magic picked up another win thanks to help from the ever talking Symon... I'm disappointed that the wins are coming that way but the match was once again pure Kid Kaos/Magic/T-Rex quality... Simply amazing!

Main Event

Well the match itself was not my favourite but the pyschology of it was! We're finally seeing Pimp Bizkit Vs. Billy Bond for the GZW Heavyweight Title taking shape! But truthfully, I can't see poor ole' Pimp taking the belt off the the "Smooth One" anytime soon since Smooth can come up big in the hot spots and if these two duke it out as Fallout well expect him to come up big again!

Rating

Well this Crimson was good, as all Crimsons are so it once again earns my A rating! But I'm so hoping to hand out my first A+ for Fallout: Zero Hour! I'm looking forward to Crimson next week as a lot of Titles will be on the line! Only one match has been announced for Fallout: Zero Hour and thats the very hot duo of "Justin Sharp Vs. Chris Sharp"!
