It's more of a light hearted LAX, and hopefully none of them are as clumsy as hernandez (is that his name? the one that isn't homicide).

Cryme Tyme was ok. I don't really remember getting a chuckle out of them as I was almost kind of shocked. It just came out of nowhere and was quite the borderline played piece. Almost had a really lame Chappelle's show vibe.

Randy Orton is the first WWE wrestler to fail a drug test under the WWE Talent Wellness Program's new guidelines - which recently went into effect. Despite his failure in a recent drug test, he will not be pulled off the road. He will continue to appear on both TV and PPV shows, but as a general rule, he is not supposed to appear on house shows for 30 days. Orton didn't appear at any house shows this weekend. For that matter, he hasn't appeared at a house show in about a month.
Under the old guidelines, Orton would have been taken off the road for 30 days due to suspension. Also, he would have lost one month's worth of salary. Under the new guidelines, he will continue to work TV and PPV shows, but he will only have his road expenses covered and receive no bonuses for the shows. The only non-change in the new guidelines is that he will have his downside guarantee docked for 30 days.
WWE recently changed their guidelines because they didn't want to have to interrupt storylines or change PPV matches if a wrestler was to fail a drug test. WWE officials weren't happy with how things went down for the Great American Bash PPV back in July, and with the results for drug tests for RAW talent just now coming in, they didn't want to risk messing up their plans for the Unforgiven PPV.
Why are WWE bothering with him? He's not even that good in the ring!!!

I like Orton. He just needs to get his head screwed on. His RKO on Trish last week was great!!!

On Wednesday, Bryan Alvarez reported that there are changes happening with the WWE’s “Wellness” Policy (aka drug policy). Wrestlers who now fail tests (and receive suspensions such as 30-day, 60-day, etc.) will continue to appear on television, but they will be working for free during the time of their suspension. Furthermore, Several wrestlers on the RAW roster did, in fact, fail drug tests and will continue to be wrestling on the road without earning a salary.
If this policy sounds familiar, it should. It happened in the 1990s when McMahon had drug testing. From the mindset of a wrestling promoter, having wrestlers fail drug tests and be yanked from television/PPVs after being suspended wreaks havoc on trying to book long-term programs. For McMahon’s rationale, he can still claim publicly that wrestlers who fail drug tests are in fact suspended without pay, therefore claiming that the policy still has teeth. Given the lack of negative attention about McMahon’s “Wellness” policy in the general public, it’s doubtful that he will face any sort of negative repercussions at all by these new changes.
Chris Benoit is scheduled to return on the Saturday Smackdown show in West Palm Beach against Sylvester Terkay.
Batista will not be working either of the weekend Smackdown house shows.
YouTube is pulling ANY video that has the WWE logo, even if WWE doesn't own the footage. So if you plan to submit something with the WWE logo, don't bother.
WWE is also actively trying to close down MySpace pages that claim to be the official page of certain WWE stars when they really aren't.

Ryan O'Reilly is a Deep South Wrestling guy who had been tag teaming with Derrick Neikirk at ECW house shows. O'Reilly has yet to debut on television. O'Reilly immediately dropped the Deep South Wrestling title last week. He will be out of action for 30 days due to suspension. Neikirk will continue working on ECW house shows, but in singles matches. Neikirk lost to Kevin Thorn in two house show matches over the weekend.
In the case of Balls Mahoney, just like Randy Orton, he is still able to appear on television. However, he won't be paid for 30 days, he will only have his road expenses covered. Also, he has been pulled from all house shows. He didn't appear at any ECW house shows this past weekend. As of late, Mahoney had been feuding with Kevin Thorn on television and at house shows. Also, it looked like he was starting to get some semblence of a push, especially considering that the company was asking fans as to what Ball Mahoney T-shirt they would possibly purchase. It should be interesting to see if Mahoney will continue to be pushed in spite of his violation.

Also, on the "News That No One Cares About":
Barbie "Kelly Kelly" Blank is now dating Andrew "Test" Martin.
And a new wrestler for ECW is signed:
WWE has signed perennial WCW Saturday Night wrestler Brad Armstrong to a contract. He is expected to actually wrestle for ECW, mostly on house shows though. He'll mainly be used to help put talent over and to give the younger wrestlers tips. Armstrong is 45 years old.

ECW Spoiler
Tazz and Joey came out to ringside. They're starting really early. Most of the people still coming into MSG.
Heyman comes out with his cops and nails a fantastic heel promo. Paul E. was cheered at the beginning and turned them huge. Big heat. Great promo. Sabu comes out, gets through the cops, tackles Heyman. Cops jump Sabu. Heyman announces Sabu vs Big Show for the title, Extreme Rules, tonight!
RVD beat Hardcore Holly via DQ when Test, Mike Knox, Stevie Richards attack Van Dam. Sandman and Dreamer make the save. Heels all get caned. Sandman canes Stevie, Dreamer hits DDT, RVD hits 5 Star Frog Splash.
CM Punk beat Shannon Moore. Punk very, very over. Good match. Looked really stiff. CM Punk chants in effect.
In the back, Kelly Kelly comes onto Punk, but is dragged away by Mike Knox. So, Heyman gets to program the best from OVW against the best from DSW. I like Heyman's thinking in this.
Rene Dupree defeated Balls Mahoney after Kevin Thorn & Ariel got involved. Ariel has cut her hair and looks like 50's pinup Betty Page.
ECW World Champion Big Show pinned Sabu in an Extreme Rules Match. Heyman and the cops at ringside. Excellent match. Slow, but hard hitting, excellent, with big crowd heat. A lot of the crowd had gotten to their seats for this one. And it was really heated. 3 broken tables, some cool chair spots. Heyman animated as hell at ringside. Sabu was excellent selling for Big Show. A really good title match.
