Jon, while I agreed with most of what you said, there was a small part that I didn't agree with.
Scott Steiner, was not in better wrestling shape than HHH. If you looked at steiners matches up until that point, and even after you can see that he could not move as good, or even near it, because of all the 'roids he used. Scott/HHH Feud was just utter crap, just like their matches.
Now, HHH was Hogging the spotlight during those times you stated, and now even with the New DX instead of having Shawn be the leader like he was the first go around, they are having HHH be the leader, and to me I don't like that. But you have to admit that HHH paid his dues during the whole Kliq incident with Diesel, Razor, and Shawn all left for a time. HHH was the only one left.
Now, fast forward to him marrying Stephanie, and then he becomes this overused World Champion. But still you cannot deny that HHH is that damn good, but still he does not need to wear the belt all the damn time, and neither does John Cena.
I'd rather have a overused World Champion in HHH than and overly hyped John Cena wearing that belt.

Oh...I see the new DX as an equal duo...neither as a leader. Although I like the new DX, I find them hard to buy still

Triple H brought the heat. And he played you well. Stop with the hate already, christ. It's not like he's the ONLY WRESTLER EVER to do anything like that. Hogan, Taker, Stone Cold, Bret, Michaels, Rock... I'm pretty positive they all have done shit before too. You just remember Triple H's because it was during the "internet" era where rumors could be overexaggerated. And that he married Stephanie. I really don't see that as a big argument because too many people make it seem like it has NOTHING to do with love. Sorry, but that's just crass.

No Sean, it's not that we remember HHH only because it's the internet era, we remember HHH because he's like John Cena now, back then HHH was being crammed down our throats. I didn't agree with HHH holding the belt that many times, I mean whats the point of dropping it only to gain it back one or two months later. Most recently, look at what he did to Orton during his short reign. Orton was destined to be a great champion, he was a great young star, but he ran into HHH who wanted his belt back.
I believe that HHH dropped the belt to Benoit so that Benoit would have to be the one to put Orton over. I'm not knocking the skill of HHH, but when he's the Jeff Jarrett of the WWE then it gets a bit stale. Watch, after this DX thing is over, he will be back in the Main Event scene stinking it up with John Cena, and he WON'T put Edge over Sean, no matter how much you take up for him(though I hope i'm wrong, but I don't think I am)
You are right, HHH probly isn't the only wrestler to not put people over, it's just that his is more visible than that of Stone Cold, or Takers. HHH has not put over any good talent except Angle. But his victims are Jericho, Edge, Orton and Kane. I don't count Goldberg, b/c Goldberg was an ass, and he deserved to be held down.
Now, I don't know why HHH married Steph, I can't tell you that love has nothing/something to do with it, but from a business stand point, it was the best business investment he's EVER made. I choose not to devulge into wrestlers personal life, it's just not my thang.

Didn't they take the belt off Orton because backstage he was an arrogant prick who had too much too soon? He never should have become world champ when he did anyway...

First off, for the love of god Rico and JK...please quit making Sean and I see eye to eye on things. It is really uncomfortable Second, I will get to some rebuttals when I get a good moment to. Had to work 6 hours, do an hour long voice over job and edit, and now I have to shower and get ready to leave for a show...which happens to be a good 2 hour drive from where I live. So no time. One quick thing though...Scott Stiener in ring shape? I don't think I have seen him in ring shape for close to a decade now.

I admitted that Trips took his title reigns a little too far at times and he shouldn't have been wrestling on his injuries, which IMO showed a lot of fucking balls to do. I was saying that during that time he was being overexaggerated because the internet was really starting to spread a bunch of shit. It was right at the peak when one person over the net said ANYTHING that anyone and their friggin mother would believe them. Honestly, it's a bunch of shit that Trips had to deal with that, but on the same token it helped build his heel heat a lot. I mean, you WANTED to see him lose... You WANTED to see him fail. It worked and most people played along quite nicely. Some people still aren't even over it, despite the fact that Triple H has done the job at Wrestlemania 3 years in a row, put over some of the biggest stars (eventhough they're pretty horrible) in WWE, and hasn't really so much as touched the title scene in a long ass time, except that whole 2-month stint feud with Cena. At least Triple H had the wrestling and mic skills to carry a reign. Cena didn't and doesn't have shit to give him hope. Wait, no... He has Edge. And even then, Cena's obviously pushed as being 10 times better than Edge. Cena is definitely worse than Triple H was as far as really killing people's heat and more or less careers (See Jericho...) Anyway, my point was that the internet really made Trips seems so much worse than he was and it was kinda pathetic to see a lot of people buy into every single story that would pop up about him. The point about him marrying Stephanie is really shallow. And the fact that he's kept himself out of the title scene for quite some time while putting over the up-and-coming stars really doesn't hold any of your opinions together. He WAS a little overkill a few years ago, but every single wrestler who hits that spot in their career always goes a little overkill. It's just less obvious because they didn't have the internet or a wife/girlfriend who's the bosses daughter back then to use as a prop

I do have to admit that Jericho cleared a thing up about that whole jericho/h3 mania thing that killed jericho's heat.
In an interview, Jericho stated he wanted to play an angle where he was having a relationship with steph. He would let her kick him around because they'd be appearing to be lovers and he'd be doolally over her and get heat off h3 in character that he was her new man.
The first problem was that neither steph or h3 were comfortable doing that (i guess seeing as how that's how h3 ended up leaving chyna for steph, they'd know better than most not to tempt it), but left the y2j being steph's bitch part in which neutered the whole thing.
And then putting the match after Rock/Hogan was a huge heat killer. Jericho knew there was no way they could follow it, and the crowd was dead in response.

Right. And killing off Goldberg and Steiner was definitely some of his best work. My god they sucked hard.

I never liked Goldberg, I mean in WcW he miraculously went from 10-0 to 75-0 then to 80-0. I guess they were counting his houseshow matches as well. Steiner, since taking the 'roids, has never been in ring shape. Since the Steiner bros. broke up, he's sucked ever since. I will agree with the wwe for not having HHH put over either Goldberg or Steiner. But the rest, I find HHH and the WWE at fault. LIke i keep saying, HHH is a great wrestler, and he's good on the mic, he just doesn't need to always be in the main event. Since he's already established he should be spending this time putting over the younger talent like Shelton Benjamin, whom is a pure athelete, and Edge. He should be killing John Cena, I just can't stand that punk, but i've stated that enough But still, HHH Is nowhere near the overly hyped level that Bulk Bogan is....lol

All of the action from tonight's tapings!
Credit: Richard Trionfo and PWInsider.com
Impact for 9/7: -Jeremy Borash interviewed NWA champion Jeff Jarrett about the Polygraph test. Eric Young shows up and tells Jarrett that he'll help Jarrett prepare for the test.
-NWA Tag Team champions LAX defeated Krazy K and PJ Mack. Konnan got on the mic after the match and asks why Styles & Daniels are on the poster for No Surrender but LAX aren't. He cuts a promo about the Ultimate X match. Styles and Daniels hit the ring and ran off LAX, then hung one of the Tag belts from the Ultimate X wires above the ring. The UX structure was up the entire taping.
-Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviews Jay Lethal, Chris Sabin, and Sonjay Dutt, who are all watching Jackass. Jerry Lynn questions why they aren't getting ready for their matches, and they said they are watching for ideas.
-Frankie Kazarian & Matt Bentley & America's Most Wanted defeated The James Gang & Shark Boy & Norman Smiley. James Storm hit a superkick on Smiley but Chris Harris scored the cover. AMW argued after the match.
*In a vignette filmed somewhere in an office, Jeff Jarrett takes the Polygraph test. Eric Young, there for "morale support" kept giving Jarrett advice and tries to stop Jarrett from answering certain questions. They featured Jarrett answering a few questions, then cut away, so there may be more that wasn't shown to the live audience.
-Christian Cage pinned Ron Killings with the Unprettier. Cage tried to hit the one man Conchairto after the match but Rhino makes the save and runs off Cage, then challenges him to a match at No Surrender.
-Jeremy Borash is backstage with Jeff Jarrett and Eric Young. Jarrett thinks he passed the polygraph thanks to Young.
-Jim Cornette came to the ring with the results of the Polygraph test. He officially announced Christian Cage vs. Rhino at the No Surrender PPV. Cornette called Jarrett out to the ring. Jarrett came out with Young. Cornette said that there were three questions that were the most important - whether he was involved with Christian Cage turning on Sting. Jarrett said no and the test said that was true. The second question was whether Jarrett was involved with Earl Hebner's actions at Slammiversary. Jarrett said he wasn't and that was true. The final question was whether there was a conspiracy between Larry Zbyszko and Jarrett. Jarrett said no but the test said that Jarrett was lying. An angry Jarrett chased Young out of the ring. Cornette said that it's tough to be wrestling fan in 2006. He said that Jarrett would have to wrestle in a non-title match with the fans around the ring with straps in a "Fan's Revenge Match" against Samoa Joe.
-In a segment just for the live audience, Bobby Heenan came out before the live crowd and praised TNA.
Impact for 9/14: -AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels defeated Matt Bentley and Frankie Kazarian.
-Chris Sabin pinned Alex Shelley. TNA X-Division champion Senshi came out and was scouting Sabin. Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal came out with a shopping cart. Johnny Devine confronted them and ended up in the shopping cart, rolled down the ramp.
-In a Hangman's Horror Match. Abyss defeated Raven. The rules of the match was that you had to put a Dog Collar around your opponent's neck and then hang them over the ropes until they pass out. After the match. Brother Runt hit the ring with a chair. He went to check on Raven, but then hit an Acid Drop on Raven, turning on him.
-Jim Cornette held a Town Hall Meeting. Cornette brought fans to the ring. He announced that Earl Hebner had been exonerated by the lie detector test and would be brought back as a TNA official. He said that Larry Zbyszko was not and would be having a closed door meeting with Cornette. Samoa Joe comes out and promises to punish Jarrett for crimes against TNA and the fans. Zbyszko comes out and said that he's tired of everything Jim Cornette is doing, and of him putting the champion in a stupid match at No Surrender. Cornette refuses and tells Zbyszko to leave. Zbyszko challenges Cornette so Cornette sends Joe after him. Jarrett shows up and goes after a planted fan (a Dory Funk student) with a chair.
-In a segment for only the live crowd, Sherri Martel addressed the crowd.
Xplosion: -Shane Douglas came out and addresses why he works with the Naturals and trying to build them up. He says that he forfeited their title match because they aren't going to back their way into a title match. He says that to earn a title match The Naturals have to defeat seven teams at No Surrender or he's pulling the plug on managing them. The Naturals then defeated Alex Shelley and Johnny Devine.
Impact for 9/21: -NWA champion Jeff Jarrett comes to the ring and claims that he's been a victim of TNA for four years. He claims that the polygraph test is bogus and that he's been a victim of TNA's poor management and of the fans. He promises to end Samoa Joe's undefeated streak at No Surrender and then would run Sting out of TNA at Bound for Glory. Samoa Joe attacks Jarrett, but Jarrett lays out Joe with a guitar. Jarrett got into the face of a fan and challenged him. The fan hopped the rail and was taken down by a number of people.
-Jay Lethal pinned Petey Williams. Chris Sabin and Sonjay Dutt came to the ring and distracted the referee. They do the "Jackass" bowling ball to the groin to set up the finish.
-Jim Cornette came to the announcing table.
-Eric Young pinned Norman Smiley.
-Rhino fought Monty Brown to a no contest when Christian Cage attacked him and they brawled outside the building. Cage hit Rhino with a chair while Rhino was against the wall of the building.
-They held a "fiesta" celebration for LAX with a Mariachi band and a table set up for celebrating. They had a mannequin dressed up like Uncle Sam hanging from above the ring. Konnan asked if AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels were the best that TNA had to offer and promised the Ultimate X match was going to see a level of violence that TNA has never seen before. He says that Uncle Sam represents everything they hate about the United States and start beating it. Styles and Daniels hit the ring. They end up cornering Konnan but LAX attack them. They hang Styles upside down and beat him.
Xplosion: -Petey Williams pinned Shark Boy
-Ron Killings and Lance Hoyt defeated Matt Bentley and Frankie Kazarian

I loved Edge's PERFECT description of Cena's wrestling tonight. I think he said something along the lines of "swinging his arms around like an ape"... Whatever he said, though, is what I ALWAYS picture when I think of Cena wrestling. Just running around like a fucking retard with his arms going everywhere lol

Meh, Raw was decent. What I've been enjoying most is the IC championship division. Matter a fact, I think it's safe to say that I've enjoyed every match that Jeff Hardy has had since he returned Yes, it's true. They're actually some pretty good wrestling matches. Johnny Nitro/Hardy should be a great time if they have a few more matches planned down the road. Wouldn't mind seeing Orton and Carlito thrown into there more frequently too. Those 4 can make the IC division REALLY awesome.
