no, Vince is punishing us because his ratings have plummeted since he end of the WcW/WWF ratings wars but thats bad when a loss is being predicted....I hate Cena being the hometown hero, matter of fact....nah you already know what I'm about to say

Edge is the hometown "hero" in this match. I'm afraid to check the results. I bought the PPV, watched to the end of the Trish/Lita match and stopped it since my parents wanted to watch their shows. I'm afraid to go back and watch the rest. And I'm afraid to read spoilers. 'Cause there's a 95% chance that I'm gonna literally scream at the top of my lungs and punch the TV or PC monitor And a 5% chance that I'll scream at the top of my lung and hug the TV or PC monitor lol... Not really, though.

Edge loses. I think I'm going on a WWE strike. Fucking retarded.

Yeah he was made to look very very shit in that matchit was annoying. They could have let Edge keep his claim to fame by being the TLC man but no they had to put Cena over at ridiculous level yet again. Lita is seriously retarded. I didn't like the fact Carlito had to lose to Orton either.
I was sad to see Trish leave but really why would you have her win the title? lol

to give her a good send off. they are going to let her have the title and do away with the womens division altogether I believe. I know the ppv was shit, Vince gettting his face shoved up Big Show's Ass, and then to cap off an already terrible night they go and predictibly give Cena the title back. Now we are going to have more punishment because I believe that Umaga is next in line

from what I read...isn't Trish still goin' to give Lita a rematch on RAW tonight...Lita wins and Trish retires...also I heard that Kane/Umaga isn't finished especially after havin' a double count out...

That would make sense. I think it would give Kane the push he needs to be the one to end Umaga's streak. In fact I don;t care who does it lol just someone, anyone...
Why would they make such a big deal of the PPV being where Trish has her last match if they are just going to make her have another on RAW? Unless it's because it was becuase of being a PPV in Canada.
I'm hoping Carlito can get some kinda payback...he's really underestimated, poor lad. What kind of punishment is it for Orton to go over at a PPV anyway? Even if he is doing it for less money?

I am under the impression that their will be a tournament for the women's title. With Cyber Sunday coming up and the way the WWE loves to put all the women into some sort of stipulation match I could easily see this as their chance to put the title on someone.

I'd say give it to Mileena then

also I read that isn't Orton gettin' the no#1 contender spot in reward for doin' the job to the Immortal One...plus many feel that Carlito isn't quite over enough as a serious character to be main eventin'...he is still makin' that transition from comedy to serious...
and although I don't watch it even I know Kane isn't goin' to win the feud with Umaga...Kane is bein' thrown under the bus to further get Umaga over as this unstoppable monster...

I like Umaga. He is a good worker, has a terrific mouthpiece/manager and a couple of decent power moves. He is a fantastic version of old school wrestling.

I agree with Jer I think people are a little too harsh on Umaga. He really plays his character out well and I actually liked his match with Kane. That's what a monster match should be. How was Raw? I'm not watching WWE for a while, so I'll just get opinions through here lol. I'm guessing Edge was made to look like shit again? Until they actually make an attempt to make him look fucking awesome like he SHOULD... I won't bother wasting another second on WWE.

The following is from WrestleView.com:
Dark Match:
- Val Venis defeated Rob Conway with a Money Shot.
WWE Friday Night Smackdown Tapings:
- JBL joins Michael Cole at ringside for commentary.
- A promo is shown with Smackdown GM Teddy Long and World Heavyweight Champion King Booker (with Sharmell). They complain to Long about having to face Vito tonight. Long then cancels the match and then tells Booker he will be facing The Undertaker tonight instead.
- Batista & Bobby Lashley defeated Finlay & William Regal. Lashley hit Regal with a Spear to get the pinfall, while Batista attended to Finlay on the outside.
- 2006 WWE Diva Search winner Layla came out. She was followed by Kristal Marshall. Layla and Kristal started to fight when Jillian Hall came out. Jillian took Kristal's top off and did the same to Layla as well.
- Matt Hardy defeated WWE Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms in a Non-Title Match. Said to be a great match. The finish saw the referee go to fix the top turnbuckle when Hardy low blowed Helms to get the win.
- The Miz defeated Funaki.
- Clips of John Cena in "The Marine" were shown.
- Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero ended in a No Contest when Vickie Guerrero got involved.
- Paul London & Brian Kendrick defeated The Pitbulls (Kid Kash & Jamie Noble) & The Teacher's Pets (K.C. James & Idol Stevens) to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles. London pinned Noble to get the win for his team.
- Backstage, Elijah Burke introduced Sylvester Terkay as an All-American.
- Sylvan then came out and got what was described as the biggest pop of the night. He got on the mic and told the Montreal crowd that it was good to be back and added regardless of who comes out, he doesn't only have to take on himself, but he has to take on everyone here in Montreal. That got another big reaction.
- Sylvan defeated Tatanka using the ropes. Another huge pop for his win from the Montreal crowd.
- The Undertaker defeated World Heavyweight Champion King Booker via DQ in a Non-Title Match. WWE U.S. Champion Mr. Kennedy was at ringside doing commentary. Undertaker gave Booker a Tombstone after the match.
- John Cena advertised for Smackdown: We have gotten word that a graphic hit the screen promoting WWE Champion John Cena, Batista & Bobby Lashley vs. King Booker, Finlay & William Regal for next week on Smackdown.
