I agree with Jer I think people are a little too harsh on Umaga. He really plays his character out well and I actually liked his match with Kane. That's what a monster match should be. How was Raw? I'm not watching WWE for a while, so I'll just get opinions through here lol. I'm guessing Edge was made to look like shit again? Until they actually make an attempt to make him look fucking awesome like he SHOULD... I won't bother wasting another second on WWE. Hehe...RAW had it's ups and downs. The six man Intercontinental title match was pretty good, even Masters was doing ok...Jeff really is the sloppy one now. Nitro retains to push his feud with Hardy though. Then it was crap too see a 6 man tag with DX w/ Cena vs Edge, Cade and that other guy...hardly seems fair. I drew ther line once it ended with Cena doing DX chops...
As for Umaga. I guess next to some other big guys they've had the audacity to hire, he doesn't look so bad but the one thing that does him no favours is Estrada. He is such a crap manager. Awful on the mic. He hardly has any dialogue without him saying his name or his "Hahaaa!!" You couldn't possibly compare him to the like Paul E or James Mitchell. And that's what a guy who isn't going speak needs, a damn good manager, not one who can't speak either...

To me Umaga just looks and acts ridiculous. His gimmick is just a modern day Headshrinker. But this feud with Kane is good for him, but after this feud ends then he will get stale and boring because he will be feuding with Cena. Which will produce basement dwelling ratings. But to answer your question Tate, I don't think Orty is in line for the no. 1 contenders spot, HBK jobbed to Hogan but he didn't get didly squat. Also Orty is still in the dog house for failing a drug test I believe. But Edge was kinda made to look like shit, he didn't get to play the hometown hero, though he did get a win over DX and Cena, he was also squashed at the end recieving each persons finisher. I sure hope Edge gets another title reign for making Cena look good in the ring. I JUST HATE THIS GUY NAMED CENA on a side note, Ishy you are right about Estrada, he sucks as a manager, and I hate listening to him on the mic.

Figured as much. And why the hell are DX teaming with Cena? Didn't Triple H just feud with Cena a few months ago? I really wish they'd break DX up and have Trips murder Cena. I would be all up for an Edge/Trips feud... At least Triple H doesn't make his opponents look like shit on every fucking show. Oh, and I disagree about Jeff. Before he returned to WWE I would have, but from what I've seen since his return he's been very solid. A few slipups here and there, but that's to be expected from him. But the rest has been solid nonetheless. And Estrada... He can get annoying, yeah, but he plays his role decent. His facial expressions crack me up... His character on a video game will probably look perfect because of that. I just think Umaga takes a little too much heat. He has a good moveset aside from that damn thumb. Even that looks more painful than the FU. Really, he has more talent in that thumb than Cena does period

Perhaps it's ring rust with Hardy? He just doesn't seem to be all that so entertaining at all and looks as if he's struggling a bit...although for all the wrong reasons I laughed at him getting angry about his painting last week lol

I've defintely been impressed by him since his return. Granted, it's the "same old stuff" but at least he uses a variety and doesn't do the same stuff in the same exact order all the friggin time... A la Cena. Could be his opponents, though. But I strongly doubt that Nitro is capable of carrying a match on his own. So far, I haven't disliked a Hardy match yet

I think Hardy has pretty well been spot on since his return. Last night was his sloppiest effort, but only when he ran the rail.
What is with this Estrada hate? the guy is fantastic. Sure he is not a Bobby Heenan or Paul E., but the guy is good. He gets the reaction he is supposed to get every time.
Sean, you would have loved Edge last night. Perfect example of why he is such a great heel. Cena started off the show to thunderous boos. They barely even let him talk. Edge comes out to heavy applause and within a minute he has the crowd against him and people cheering for Cena. That takes talent.
HHH did a fair job to. He just kept giving Cena dirty looks the whole night after it was announced they would be teaming together. However, Cena doing the crotch chops was just wrong. It was another example of WWE protecting him from boos. I don't think they thought Edge could get himself booed like they did, which is why they stuck him with DX...which in theory, in Montreal, with HBK wasn't such a great idea, but the crowd really didn't go after him too much. There was one small "You screwed Bret" chant, but for the most part even he was cheered.
The six pack IC challenge was pretty good too. Carlito and Super Crazy stole the show.
Kane and Umaga was good...with Kane even going old school evil on Estrada's ass.

Sorry...I keep forgetting that you don't actually have to have any particular talent to make money in WWE...lol. I haven't rated Estrada since he turned up and he has done nothing that anyone else couldn't just get up and do IMO.
I'm intrigued by Cryme Tyme. I think they need to get in the ring now though. lol their promos remind me of GTA and just as humorous
Yeah the beginning of the show with Edge and Cena was good even if it was for that split second I thought Edge was actually going to clump Cena one. It looked a bit intense and if Edge was acting that, he's damn good lol

I can name you a shitload of wrestlers that do not have the mic skills that Estrada has. We shall start with all the current champions on RAW.

It's true lol which is why I made the comment that you don't have to be talented to be in WWE

And if you are talented you get burried. I'd cry for Edge is I wasn't a robot or anything.

I actually watched Raw for the first time in a few weeks, to be honest i'vebeen hearing a lot about Umaga, but now i see he's nothing but a Samoa Joe copy. He's awful idon't see why WWE continues to push guys like him, Khali, Henry when theres guys liek Val Venis, William Regal who had all the talent in the world to become world champs....
Match of the night was the IC match, and Super Crazy on Raw have i missed something?

Indeed Super crazy stole the match along with Carlito I don't seem getting anything more than these matches though. There just for making a good visually entertaining match but I just can't see him getting any titles...
