Well for me if Angle went to TNA he'd be the world champ and could have great fueds with the likes of Joe, Styles, Daniels. And would be the main man in TNA as they could afford to get rid of sting, Jarrett of course nio matte what will be involved with TNA, but Angle would be amajor player.
But still MMA ispossible and i suppose he'd be good there, but i'd trather see him retire and make the occasiona;l WWe apeparance rather than see him put hi lif on the line justto entertain people.

The following is TNA's BIG surprise.
The big surprise that TNA President Dixie Carter said will "change the fabric of a company forever" and "re-write the history of (the) industry" at this Sunday's PPV is the return of the one and only Vince Russo. The announcement will be made to the TNA wrestlers over the weekend.
TNA is currently in a bit of a panic move due to declining ratings over the last few weeks. The company hired Vince Russo to join the booking committee alongside Dutch Mantel and Jeff Jarrett. TNA officials have given Russo guidelines, the biggest one being that there can be "no sleaze" on their wrestling shows. Also, Mike Tenay and Scott D'Amore have been removed from the committee.
Also, its being said that there will likely be a shake-up in personnel in that some wrestlers may be leaving the company eventually due to this move. There has been no indication that any of major stars will be quitting immediately over this, although some will likely not renew their contracts when they come up.
We can confirm that Russo was in the TNA offices for the first time yesterday working on creative. The old creative team was informed on Tuesday of this week that Russo would be coming in. Dixie Carter has not been as hands on with the creative end and we believe that will continue in order to give this new regime a chance to get their feet wet.
Mike Tenay and Scott D'Amore are officially off creative and Tenay will return to his announcing duties. D'Amore will remain with the company although it remains to be seen where he will wind up as he had taken himself off TV to devote more time to creative.
Jeremy Borash's new role within the company is unknown at this time although one source indicated he'll be working more hands-on with production.
Those who are no longer on the creative team are still expected to be called upon as consultants of the creative process as the shows are put together.
A number of TNA personalities were informed of this decision this morning and an official announcement to the entire TNA crew is expected to take place prior to the No Surrender PPV this Sunday. There is already frustration among several within TNA about this decision and morale is already expected to take a huge dive among the TNA roster.
Given Russo's track record, it is safe to say many are not looking forward to this new move. It is no secret that Russo and Jeff Jarrett are good friends and with the two working together as the central part of the booking committee along with Dutch Mantel (who is said to be an extension of Jarrett), you can pretty much expect Jarrett to remain the focus of TNA (which is something many people were hoping was going to stop given the drop in ratings) unless they intend to make drastic changes to help turn the company around.
Others are taking a "wait and see" approach with this entire situation as Russo has yet to book a PPV or TV taping yet with Jarrett and Mantel. After the PPV and TV tapings wrap up this Sunday and Monday, we will no doubt have a good idea of what direction that company will be headed with the return of Russo. There are also others wondering what this does for Jim Cornette's status with TNA as Russo and Cornette have a long history of dislike for each other. Cornette was very upset when Russo booked the "Oklahoma" character in WCW mocking Jim Ross, which later saw Cornette spit on Ed Ferrara (Russo's writing partner) at one point. What makes Russo's return to TNA so interesting is that Cornette has stated in many interviews that he felt Russo was to blame for the "disintegration of the business" in general. At this point, the two will more than likely be kept apart from each other at TNA events or it could be safe to say that Cornette's run with TNA might end faster than it started.
It's also interesting to note that none of our TNA sources have indicated that this is the big surprise planned for Sunday so it could wind up being something completely different.

WWE SIGNS ANOTHER FORMER ECW AND WCW STAR TO RETURN by Mike Johnson @ 5:35:00 PM on 9/21/2006
World Wrestling Entertainment has signed former ECW, WCW, and WWF star 2 Cold Scorpio to a three year deal, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
The former ECW World Television and Tag Team champion had a tryout match a few weeks back in a dark match against Rene Dupree. King Booker had been pushing for Scorpio to be picked up by the company.
There's no word yet as to what brand Scorpio will be assigned to yet. In recent years, Scorpio had been a regular for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan and was living out of Germany. I believe he is in the process of moving to Florida, or has just completed moving there. Scorpio had been working for a number of independent companies over the past summer, including IWA Mid-South and Pro Wrestling Unplugged.

Hmmm....seems the gun was jumped on the Russo announcement.
Vince Russo is the primary guy on the booking team, and it is a three-man team. There was talk of more guys, but Russo does not like committees.
Russo is on the same page as Dixie Carter. The first taping is already booked and Dixie is excited about it. Russo will be answering to Dixie, and this was not Jarrett's call to bring in Russo. Dixie believes Russo will be different than Jarrett or D'Amore, and her feeling is that D'Amore's crew simply ran out of creative ideas. Keller used the analogy of a snowy hill. The more it's used in the same day, the more straight that the sled will go.
Keller says that reportedly Russo is re-energized and ready to do new things. There is suspicion that Russo may have just been "good at the interview" as he has been hired by so many companies.
RUSSO IS NOT THE ANNOUNCEMENT! The vast majority of those in TNA do not know what it is. It is supposed to be something huge. Keller's guess is that it's the two-hour timeslot, but he emphasized that it was a guess. He also confirmed that the surprise is NOT The Rock.
Russo has the green light to push who he wants. Jarrett is not guaranteed to have a PPV main event position after November. Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantell do not have veto power and it will ultimately be Dixie's call.
The decision had been made about two days ago. Dixie realized a few weeks ago that the quality of the show and TNA product had gone downhill.
Scott D'Amore thought that the X-Division should be more about spots and human wrecks. D'Amore didn't care for rules being followed such as keeping legal men in the ring. Others behind the scenes disagreed with this. D'Amore is the main reason for the demise of the X-Division in TNA in recent months. D'Amore will still be with the company, but now that's he's gone, it's possible that the X-Division will get a new push.
Russo will book the finish for Jarrett/Joe at No Surrender.
Vince Russo is a big fan of Samoa Joe, so it is likely that Joe will still become a main eventer. Russo is also on good terms with Konnan, so LAX's push will still be kept going. Russo is also a fan of Christian Cage.
Russo being hired is not the major announcement TNA has promised. The announcement being made on Sunday will be big, according to sources who have talked to people who know, and not a letdown.

much like when Russo was around in the beginnin' of TNA I enjoyed it...though he is horrible when left unchecked he does have a great bookin' mind...I still think the major announcement is somethin' along the lines of an earlier timeslot...movin' to Tuesday to compete with WWECW...an additional hour...it definitely has to be somethin' beyond a "major" acquistion of talent...

if he's booking the end to the Joe/JJ match then we can expect to see Joe losing to the "king of the mountain"

Wow... None of this news I really don't care about. Russo MAY help TNA a bit, because I think they've definitely been lacking heavily on storylines. Not to mention that the X-Division has been cold as friggin ice. Are they even using Low-ki? Dumb. I want more Sabin. Russo needs to respect that, which he seemed to do back when he was around a while ago.
Otherwise, a big yawn subject. Until I see an "Edge goes psycho on Cena and rips his shit up" headline... It's really not that important lol.
Do it Edge. No. Do it Adam! Snap on that fool!

I've always rated 2 Cold Scorpio. I hope he can get in shape, and I personally think he'd fit best on the ECW brand. I actually thought he was a bit older than 41...

IS ti me or does TNA remind you now of WCW 2000/01 the dying days to be honest i watched sinmce thje begining of spike tv run, i saw TNA rise up an do great and in recent months since this god awful Jarrett and Sting fued has come to over th ebelt i've seen TNA go rapidly downhill. Only positives left in the company now are Daniels, Styles and Joe. A some others.
TNA needs to turn itself around and if Russo can sort it out by booking better than the current TNA squad then great news, but i think it will make little if no difference.
But i heard the big announcement was TNA was moving to a two hour time slot on mondayu nights going up against the big daddy Raw. How can TNA take on the top show when they can't draw in WWe fans when it's a neutral night of no wrestling on other stations, how can they hope to draw them in? For me TNA has nothing like WCW did when they took the WWE fans over, TNA has LAX, Jarret and Sting, WCW had Hogan, Hall, nash, Bret HArt, Ted Diabase, Randy Savage, Steiner, Luger, Sting, Ric Flair, The Giant, Goldberg, DDp, the list is endless. It was Bishoff greatness that made WCW kick WWE's ass 82 weeks straight. As turning Hogan heel, forming the NWo thing was the best thing that ever happened in wrestling period.

TNA is doing what WcW tried to do. Take Vince's creations and try to repackage them and make them stars. And from all signs of it, it ain't working.
Goldberg, Rhino, Christian, JJ, Randy Savage, Nash, Hall, Piper etc you can't expect to win rating wars with people that Vince has already drained all of their market power out of. Rhino IMO is getting stale, I haven't watched in a while, but I sure hope he isn't still doing those stupid shoot videos on ECW, because that make him look ridiculous and shows just how much he truly wanted to go to ECW.

With ECW going head-to-head on 10/10 with the Spike TV Ken Shamrock vs. Tito Ortiz III match, at first the word was WWE was not going to acknowledge or counterprogram.
However, WWE announced today it will have a live strip poker game with all the women in the promotion (Raw, Smackdown and ECW) as its counter to the UFC two-hour live show.
