According to PWInsider.com, WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut is undergoing a slight renovation as an office is being built for Paul "Triple H" Levesque, who was recently promoted to an executive role within the organization.
According to a company source, the multi-time wrestling champion now officially serves as WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's creative advisor.
While Triple H has had Vince's ear for the past several years, it was always in an unofficial capacity. From this point forward, he will have a much more authoritative voice in regards to the company's creative direction and its many performers.

A local FOX affiliate in Tampa is reporting that former WWE superstar Jim Neidhart has been arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, one count of burglary of an occupied dwelling, and one count of grand theft.
According to the report, Neidhart was arrested in Thonotosassa, Florida after deputies were alerted to Neidhart being loud and yelling as he attempted to open a pill bottle while pumping gas at a gas station parking lot located at 3100 Flethcher Avenue.
After reportedly being argumentative with the authorities, Neidhart was patted him down and they found 28 methodone tablets and 95 oxycotin pills. Several pill bottles in Neidhart's possession were belonging to neighbors who had recently reported them stolen.
Neidhart, who was listed as a self-employed entertainer on his arrest record, is currently being held without bond pending his first appearance before a judge. Due to the Labor Day holiday, it's unlikely he will be seen before Tuesday.

I doubt Triple H is done wrestling, keep in mind, he still wants to pass Ric Flair's World title reigns and I believe he's only 3 runs away

WWE.com has posted highlights of former ECW announcer Joey Styles' weekly NXT commentary on WWE.com. For those of you who missed it, here are some highlights: "Too bad about Aloisia. I've been told she was very photogenic."
"AJ worked as a WRESTLER (dirty word) for 3 years to get to WWE. She's not just a model or fitness competitor we found. (ouch)"
"AJ wrapped the tie around the neck. She's fired!"
"WWE has a new movie coming out? Really? What's it called? Who's in it? I wish myself the best in my future endeavors."
"Regardless of what you thought of NXT, I think we can all agree on one thing. This chat was more entertaining than TNA. OH MY GOD! Goodnight."
Joey Styles also answered a question about his WWE status on his Twitter, writing, "I've received lots of e-mails asking what I'm going to do now that my WWE contract has expired. Huh?...http://twitterurl.net//onol."

source: PWInsider.com Matt Hardy was sent home from World Wrestling Entertainment's ongoing tour of Europe today, company sources have confirmed. There was concern over Hardy's condition backstage at yesterday's SmackDown live event in Minehead, England. This comes on the heels of an incident at last Sunday's SmackDown live event in White Plains, New York where he was scheduled to team with R-Truth against Luke Gallows and CM Punk. Company sources indicate there was concern over his condition that day too. It is said that Hardy left the building after officials spoke to him and never returned for his match. Hardy posted a peculiar message on his Twitter account late last night, writing: "Good Night Earth.. And remember, life is special.. bit.ly/bPRN8J Godspeed everyone." The enclosed link directs to Jeff Hardy's video announcement last month that he is going to be a father.

To follow up on Steve Gerweck's report from earlier today, a WWE spokesperson confirmed to Newsday.com that Matt Hardy was also pulled from a recent WWE event in White Plains, NY in addition to the final overseas event in England this past weekend. This same WWE spokesperson declined to comment in detail as to why Hardy was removed from the events. As noted earlier, Hardy's tirade on YouTube did him no favors in the eyes of WWE and was a cause for concern among others.

The dirt sheets continue to be against Matt Hardy as Bryan Alvarez is reporting that Hardy is on "very thin ice" with the company. According to Alvarez, WWE initially didn't want to release him since he would be able to reform the Hardy Boyz with brother Jeff in TNA. However, things have apparently changed following this weekend and the video blog Hardy made that WWE was not happy with at all. Lastly, Alvarez mentions that the "punk stooge" comment in Hardy's video was a reference to CM Punk, who Hardy is said not to get along with.
--Matt Hardy is not at tonight's WWE Smackdown taping in Detroit. No word yet if Hardy will post a video to "prove" that he is actually there.

* Here's a quick hello to all my people & a reassurance to everyone that I'm fine, healthy, & in good spirits. Thx for all of your support.
* When the time is right, I'll put everything out there as far as what "really" went down. I know I have to protect me & my brand, & I will.
* I appreciate my fans so much that I'll always be honest with them, & the whole story certainly isn't out there now.
* I appreciate all of the things the WWE has done 4 me in the past, they have been gracious to me-but now, it's decision time for me. Thx all.

Two matches discussed for WWE’s Smackdown debut on SyFy in a few weeks could see the WWE Champion and Intercontinental Champion vs. the World Champion and the United States Champion in a RAW vs. Smackdown main event. Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio also may take place.

After doing away with the Unified Tag Team Titles a few weeks ago, WWE has been wanting to make the belts more important and create more tag teams to contend for the titles.
Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre will face The Hart Dynasty in a non-title match on this week’s Friday Night Smackdown but it’s not confirmed yet if they will get a title shot at Night of Champions. It is possible WWE may add the match at the last minute.
There has been discussion this past week about building the tag titles up. The idea is to make a few regular teams on both RAW and Smackdown so the champions will have several credible challengers.
One idea is to do a Survivor Series style match at the PPV in November with tag teams from both brands. The match wouldn’t necessarily be a RAW vs. Smackdown match but a heels vs. faces match.
-- WWE is getting ready to sign several new developmental stars as some talents were recently sent to Pittsburgh, PA for complete physicals and drug testing. If they pass, they will receive developmental deals.
- WWE is still actively working with modeling agencies to recruit new Divas to help build up that division. Former Playboy model Tifanny Selby was recently looked at by the company in Las Vegas.

- People within WWE are referring to NXT Rookie Naomi Night as a “female Shelton Benjamin.” This is being said about her in a good way as Shelton was respected for being one of the most athletic stars on the roster for a long time.

According to Dave Meltzer, members of the WWE creative team have been told that Matt Hardy will not be used for the foreseeable future. However, he has not been released or even suspended at this point.
Meltzer reports that the recent Cody Rhodes promo on Hardy's weight was, similar to Mickie James and Serena, WWE's way of sending him a warning message.
In an interesting note regarding Hardy's YouTube video, it was said that WWE was particularly upset about Hardy reading a wrestling website headline that mentioned John Cena's movie Legendary bombing at the box office.
--WWE star MVP was asked about last night's episode of NXT on his official Twitter account and had the following to say:
"NXT is awful. I'll be glad when it ALL over!"

WWE is obviously not going to put Matt where he should have been years ago. If they release him, he can get his career going again. I know TNA would likely have him chase the top title too soon, but at least he'd get a look in.

Matt Hardy is not good enough for the World Heavyweight Championship, that's why the WWE didn't put him in the hunt. TNA always puts their WWE signings in the title hunt, I guess its just because of the name notoriety, but most of them shouldn't be anywhere near the World title....

Oh, bullshit, Matt has been way better than several people to hold that belt. It's not even that prestigious if someone can get it after a minimal build-up (Sheamus, for example). Some get it just because they made the right friends (Sheamus again) and some because of their size (Batista, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Big Show, Khali, etc etc), most of these people had little to no buildup and won the top title. Most are also shite on the stick and have a repertoire of about 5 moves, with the exception of Lesnar, who was actually good (they just didn't build him up to it so much).
Hardy has been in WWE for fucking years and hasn't gotten close simply because he pisses someone off in the office, that's it. It has fuck all to do with being good enough, Rico, we have all seen people who didn't deserve a shot get not just that, but a proper reign. Mysterio also springs to mind. If all of them can get it, why not Hardy? Just because someone gets a bit miffed with him? Fuck that. It's getting to the point where letting him go would get his career back on the right path.
I mean, we're talking about someone who got fired for talking about his PERSONAL problem a few years back. The company regularly treats him like shit and yet he remains loyal. Shit like this is exactly why I don't watch it anymore. Also, I left out the most obvious examply for being shite and getting a title shot, but that's because it's kind of over-played.

Miz gettin' the title before WM HAS to happen...even if it's for a short program to test out how everyone takes it...but Miz is definitely ready to main event and even carry the company alongside Cena/Orton in my opinion...
