Exactly and how many of those are great wrestlers? Not entertainers but truly great wrestlers.

I think they know exactly what they're doing, and that they knew Sting speculation would surely come from this. It is very similar to a lot of what WCW did for Sting with their massive budgets back in the day, and during his silent, creepy phase where he didn't speak for about two years.
Can't remember if it was somewhere here or elsewhere, but someone was asking "why are they putting this much effort into another Undertaker return?"
Well, because he is THE draw heading into Wrestlemania.

with what Billy has said about Taker indeed bein' THE draw headin' into WM and his possible return to RAW...will we be seein' Cena attemptin' to end the Streak...?

F4WOnline.com is reporting that TNA officials are under the belief that Sting is very close to signing a deal to return to the company, even though his profile was removed from the TNA website as we reported last night. At last word, Sting had NOT been contacted by WWE officials and there has apparently been no discussion between both sides concerning an appearance by Sting at WrestleMania.

For what it’s worth, as of the middle of last week, there was no contact between Sting and WWE, but since that time there has been interest from both sides, although at press time no serious discussions have taken place and we don’t actually know if any discussions have yet to take place. The Undertaker vs. Sting idea is unlikely. Undertaker vs. Barrett has been dropped as the main event and they have a new direction for Undertaker which will be the main event on the show. It’s possible the new direction could change, but it’s doubtful, because it involves Michaels (obviously not wrestling) in some form and is being counted on to be the big thing on the show. It’s got nothing to do with Brock Lesnar. I expect there will be just because there is momentum and it would be foolish of WWE not to at least feel out the situation and for both sides to consider it. It does make business sense right now to do a two month deal and may never again, given Sting’s age and at 53 (next year at Mania time) after being off a year, it may still make business sense but I don’t see Sting as the guy who wants to hobble out there as an old man because he doesn’t need the money. And if he still wanted to go, it’s not like he couldn’t sign for another year with TNA for very good money and really not all that many matches. He has been in contact with Dixie Carter. Right now there is no date planned for his return but he has not signed a new TNA contact, however he was originally going to be on the 1/31 Impact until they reversed fields on the “They” angle. Carter said she would be disappointed if Sting went to WWE. Creative in TNA has been told by Carter to create a storyline for Sting’s return. We heard talk this past week that Ric Flair would not go face with Fortune and his role would be to feud with Styles, and also do the Flair vs. Sting series that was planned for 2010 that never happened. However, on 2/7, Sting was taken off the TNA active roster page, which may mean they no longer think he’s returning, although they are talking with him. Sting and Nash remained on the TNA roster page even after the angle where they left the company, and Nash wasn’t taken off until he was released to go to WWE.
Undertaker has stepped up the rehab on the shoulder he had surgery on. He has recently spent considerable time in Birmingham working out there and things are going fine and on schedule for him to be able to wrestle on the show. Right now they are pretty solid on him doing a singles match instead of a tag, barring a setback.

The Taker/Cena match won't happen because the WWE always insist on having Cena win the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania...

And the feuds he was involved in sucked. Helms was fun until it became clear he'd just float around the midcard and stop being entertaining (and now he's just a bitter tool) and Booker got there after being buried what was it, twice? And then there's RVD. When he finally got there, he spoke of breaking the glass ceiling. That wasn't just something to say IC you know. History shows it man, if you weren't made in WWE, your run is going to be shit or at the very least, will suffer. Umm...
